In addition, it helps avoid errors and omissions during tests that may appear in manual testing.
Tools & Technologies
The key tool for automating mobile app testing in QulixQA is Appium. This free tool is used to test native and hybrid apps on iOS and Android devices. Tests run on real devices, emulators or utilizing cloud technologies. Tests implemented with Appium interact both with mobile apps and web interfaces in browsers, if it is necessary to automate the execution of a comprehensive end-to-end test.
Using this tool removes restrictions on interacting with any third-party systems and modules, regardless of the interaction interface. Other free tools can hardly offer similar flexibility. The use of Appium allows reducing costs for cross-platform testing (provided that the logic is the same for both platforms).
